I don't know about you but sometimes when I think of something, I hold my tongue because I worry what others will think. But, now I am trying to be brave. For example, I went through a drive-thru recently and the girl at the window had rainbow hair - it was so vibrant and cool! Now, the old me would have just kept that thought to myself but the new me took out my crown and said, "I love your hair". It was genuine and simple. Know what? She lit up! Her face beamed and she said, "Thank you!" And with that, I drove on.
You may be thinking, "That does not seem like much." It really isn't. When I compliment someone, it is not a big thing or a grand gesture. But it comes from the heart, and isn't that what is supposed to lead us?
I'm a firm believer that you never know who needs that compliment, note, gesture in the moment. When we see someone doing something great or looking great or whatever, why do we just make a mental note? Make a verbal one. Tell them. Let them know that you see them, you see their crown, you see that sparkle! You never know who may just have needed that at that moment in their day. Wear Your Crown Now
